Emma joined the Bruce Group in October 2025 and is working on the development of next-generation Li-air batteries. She completed her master's project in heterogeneous photocatalysis, titled 'Potassium-doped graphitic carbon nitride for olefin isomerisation' with the Lanterna Group from the University of Nottingham.
