Finding Us

The Group is located in the Rex Richards Building in the University's Science Area.

Access

On arrival, please press the "Peter Bruce Group" button on the door access panel. Alternatively call 01865 612766, 01865 612765 or 01865 612767 and somebody will meet you at the entrance.

Directions

From Oxford Train Station (24 minute walk)

Exiting from the main entrance, walk past the Said Business School onto Hythe Bridge Street (400 m). Continue onto George Street (320 m) and then Broad Street (320 m). At the Weston Library, turn left onto Parks Road (330 m), then right onto South Parks Road (240 m). Turn left at Hinshelwood Road and continue to the Rex Richards Building on the right side.

From Oxford Bus Station (17 minute walk)

Exit the bus station onto George Street and follow the directions as above via Broad Street, Parks Road and South Parks Road.

By Road

There is limited parking available on University grounds and on the surrounding public roads; use of the city's park & ride facilities is recommended. However, if University parking has been arranged prior to visiting, you will be provided with details of your reserved space.

The nearest on-street parking is on Mansfield Road where a ticket must be displayed (max stay 2 hours).

From the Department of Materials (Hume-Rothery Building), Parks Road (6 minute walk)

From the Department of Materials (Hume-Rothery Building), walk south on Parks Road and turn left into Sherrington Road. Continue straight to the end of the road where you will see the Rex Richards building ahead on the right.
