Dr Laidong Zhou

Laidong Zhou joined Prof. Bruce’s group in November 2023 as a postdoctoral research fellow, focusing on all solid-state batteries. Before joining the group, Laidong completed his Master's and Ph.D. degrees in Chemistry (2017 and 2021) at the University of Waterloo. He then continued with Prof. Linda Nazar for another two years as a postdoctoral researcher. His research centered on solid state electrochemistry and ionics, specifically the structure-property relationships in ionic conductors and all solid-state batteries.
