Daniel joined Professor Bruce’s group in October 2020. His research focuses on understanding the undesirable reactions that occur during the cycling of lithium-air cells.
Daniel received his undergraduate and MSc degrees in Chemical Physics (2020) from the University of Edinburgh. His final year project was carried out on exchange at the Australian National University, where he developed all-carbon metal-ion capacitors under Dr. Alexey Glushenkov. In the Summer of 2018, he carried out a project on the development of microsquare nanoband edge electrode arrays as a platform for protease sensing under Professor Andy Mount.
