Amelia Reach

Amelia joined Prof. Bruce's group in Oct 2025 as a DPhil student. Her research focuses on the Li metal – solid electrolyte interface in the Li-air battery. 

Before joining the group, she worked on NaSICON solid electrolytes under the co-supervision of Prof. Jeff Sakamoto, Prof. Ram Seshadri, and (unofficially) Prof. Tony Cheetham. She graduated with a BS in Chemistry and an MS in Materials from UC Santa Barbara. Her thesis was on microwave synthesis methods of high-rate anode materials for lithium-ion batteries.
