Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate working in polymer processing and cell fabrication for solid state lithium batteries. The post is for a period of 24 months working with Professor Sir Peter Bruce FRS and Charlotte Williams FRS. The Faraday Institution project, led by Oxford University, supports a multi-institution team of researchers focussed on delivering high performance solid state lithium ion batteries. This post builds upon recent successes using new oxygenated polymers as both the electrolytes and binders in composite inorganic cathodes using in the lithium ion batteries.
This exciting opportunity is part of the Faraday Institution's solid-state battery project, SOLBAT.
