Dr Lee Johnson

Postdoctoral Research FellowLee Johnson

Dr Johnson obtained his PhD from the University of Nottingham in 2011 where he studied fuel cell catalysis and oxygen reduction in protic ionic liquids. He then obtained an EPSRC fellowship to study novel ring-disk microelectrodes in scanning electrochemical microscopy, before joining the Bruce group in 2012. Currently, he is a senior research fellow working within the lithium air project. His research interests include electrocatalysis and reaction mechanisms at electrochemical interfaces in energy devices and he is currently focused on understanding the discharge reaction in lithium air batteries.
